TRAINING

LANGUAGE EVALUATION

We conduct language proficiency evaluations for companies, recruitment agencies and human resources departments in the following languages: Catalan, Spanish, English, German, French, Italian, Swedish, Russian, Greek and Japanese. The interviews are held in person and can take place at the client’s offices or at METAFRASI. The evaluation comprises a written exam and an oral evaluation. Afterwards a written report with the evaluator’s comments and the exam originals is issued.

GENERAL COURSES

We offer classes to individuals or small groups (3 – 4 people) in the following languages: Catalan, Spanish, English, German, French, Italian, Swedish, Russian, Dutch, Romanian and Chinese.

SPECIALISED SEMINARS

1. > The English Legal System

   This course is aimed at attorneys, legal department personnel, law students, sworn/certified translators and legal professionals who require English to complement their education or professional life. It is also aimed at professionals who would like to work in the United Kingdom.

   Length: 30 classroom hours/15 classes

2. > English for Health Professionals

   This course is aimed at doctors, medical students, healthcare workers and other health-care professionals who require English to complement their education or professional life. It is also aimed at professionals who would like to work in English-speaking countries.

3. > English for Finance and Banking

   This course is aimed at anyone specialised in finance or who needs to be able to speak specialised financial English to complement their professional life.

4. > English for Tourism

   This course is aimed at professionals in the tourism sector (guides, tour operator employees and hospitality personnel) who need to improve their English to enhance their customer service skills.
